Ans.This is the software in linux that uses windows network driver in linux for configuration of wlan.
Ok,as a first step here,get your kernel updated,as is needed by ndiswrapper. As there are no dependency issues,at least with fc5,use the rpm instead of source ball.

If you donno which card is yours check like this :
user@localhost#lspci | grep Network //this outputs your card type
In windows,you can check it by going to
control panel > Performance and Maintenence > system > Hardware > device manager, there it will be,check it out..
