Its not right buddy! I already have arranged a water sink at home in my garden. And small compost pits to contain the after-collections of banana plantations. They work even now! I just have to clean the pebbles which go into the water sink, ONCE A YEAR! I dont think it’s a tough implementation, if you have proper mind set.

Nice post!
Global warming is more of a moral problem and problem of lack of understanding.
Global warming is due to Exploitation of nature. Exploitation of nature is due to Consumerism. Consumerism is due to lack of understanding in an individual in every dimension of his living.
When I do not feel prosperous or I feel that I “lack”, I exploit. Exploitation leads to corruption, opposition, struggle and ultimately the war.
Unless I feel prosperous I can not stop exploiting the nature. To understand prosperity we need knowledge.
By decreasing wastage we can just delay the extremes of global warming but I can not permanently eradicate them, because problem of Global Warming is not where we feel it is. It is somewhere else.
Making communities, rallies etc, or decreasing wastage do help but not permanently. There is a need for a permanent solution.
Permanent solution is omni-dimensional understanding in every individual, which will lead to feeling of prosperity in every family, which will lead to fearlessness in society, which will lead to co-existence in nature.
